REMOTE LEGALOPS, LLC

Privacy Policy

How website inquiries are collected, used, and retained—and how to contact RLO about your information.

Last updated:

1. About this policy

This policy describes the current website and inquiry practices of Remote LegalOps, LLC (“RLO,” “we,” or “us”). Handling of client records and work product for an accepted engagement is addressed separately in the engagement agreement and working arrangements.

Please omit client names, confidential facts, and case documents from website inquiries. The form does not accept attachments. An inquiry does not establish an engagement; see our Terms of Use.

2. Information collected

The inquiry form collects your name, firm or organization, work email, type of support, requested timing, and brief description. Each submission is stored with its date and a reference identifier.

RLO records the inquiry’s current review status and when it was last updated to manage follow-up.

To limit abusive submissions, the website also stores an identifier derived from the date and your IP address, or your email when an IP address is unavailable. The inquiry record does not store the raw IP address. Hosting providers may separately process IP addresses and other request information, as described below.

If you contact RLO directly by email or phone, RLO receives the contact information and details you choose to provide.

3. Use & access

RLO uses inquiry information to review the requested support, assess fit and availability, respond to you, and maintain a record of the request. Technical submission information helps prevent spam and duplicate submissions.

Submissions are stored in a private inquiry inbox. Access through the website is restricted to Kyle J. Borchers’s authenticated owner account. The hosting and database providers process the information needed to operate this service.

The form does not enroll you in a mailing list or send submissions to advertising services.

4. Hosting, cookies & links

This website uses OpenAI’s Sites hosting and sign-in services, with Cloudflare infrastructure for website delivery and inquiry storage. These providers process technical information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and operate their services. Their practices are described in the OpenAI Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

RLO has not added advertising pixels, third-party analytics, or marketing cookies to this website. Hosting and sign-in services may use cookies or similar technologies for their own functions. RLO’s website does not change its handling of inquiries in response to browser Do Not Track signals.

Links to LinkedIn and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. An email link opens your email service.

5. Retention & your choices

Website inquiries remain in the inbox until deleted. There is currently no fixed retention period or automatic deletion schedule. Provider logs and any separate email correspondence may follow different retention practices.

You can contact RLO to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you submitted. Include the email used for the inquiry and, if available, its reference number. Please keep the request free of confidential matter details. Requests are reviewed in light of applicable legal and recordkeeping obligations; deletion of every record or provider backup cannot be promised.

6. Contact & updates

For privacy questions or requests, contact Kyle J. Borchers at [email protected] or (408) 219-2879.

Changes to this policy will be posted here with an updated date. Please review this page when submitting a new inquiry.
